That's Love.

“After everything she's done,
  I still care for her
    Even though I don’t get it”
But,
  That’s love.
That’s why people take abuse in relationships.
A women may get beat daily
  but she loves him,
    and will stay with him because of that.
Love makes us all a little crazy
  because we get a little more hope
    more hope than we should.
Hope in all of society…
Hope that some day it'll get better…
But sometimes it’s nothing but smoke, that hope,
  something you make by taking in the bad
    and breathing it out,
      unchanged,
        and it disappears just as quickly as it comes…
But before it’s gone,
  I suppose love closes its eyes.
So the smoke doesn't burn,
  or disappear,
    even though you really know it did,
      you’ll swear it didn’t.
You’re tricked by that scent
  you still smell in your breathe.
And his breathe,
  just lying to you,
    saying its still there,
      when its been gone for years.
It’s not coming back,
  half of you knows this…
But God…
  you will take it all
    because you know
That’s love.
